Previous Profesional Development Workshops

The Scoping Workshop, held on 22 November 2018, was the first of four workshops that will be used to design a sustainability framework for universities. This will be the second of the four workshops.

Background:
Participants are to think about challenges that prevent their universities from becoming environmentally and financially sustainable. It is key to understand that there will not be a firmed-up plan of action after the first workshop that was held in Cape Town last year, but rather a much better understanding of the challenge(s) and how to unpack these challenges and “solutionise” in further workshops.
The objective is to arrive at a framework for a master sustainability plan for Higher Education, as per the last panel discussion at the recent HEFMA conference.

Please watch and read about Design Led Thinking (or Design to innovate).
